🌞 Light

• Bright indirect light is ideal
• A little gentle morning sun is fine
• Too much harsh sun = red/purple stressed segments

💧 WateR

• Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil is dry
• Don’t let it sit in water – soggy roots are the enemy
• Less water in winter, but don’t let it fully dry out

🌱 Soil

• Free-draining is key
• Cactus mix with extra perlite or orchid bark works best
• Pot must have drainage holes

🌡 Temperature & Humidity

• Loves average home temps (15–24°C)
• Not frost tolerant
• Enjoys a bit of humidity but adapts fine to normal homes
  (bathrooms with good light = bonus)
• 🌸 Feeding

• Feed monthly in spring & summer
• Use a diluted houseplant or cactus fertiliser
• Stop feeding in autumn/winter

✂️ Pruning & Growth

• You can gently twist off segments to shape it
• Those segments root easily → free plants 👀

🌼 Flowering Tips

• Needs cooler nights (10–15°C) and shorter days in late winter
• Keep it slightly drier during this rest period
• Once buds appear, don’t move it (they’re dramatic and drop buds)
