☀️ Light

  • Loves bright, indirect light — this keeps the variegation vibrant and the new leaves pink.

  • Can handle some gentle morning or evening sun, but avoid strong midday rays.

  • Too little light = faded colour and slow growth.

💧 Water

  • Water when the top half of the soil is dry.

  • Always let water drain fully — Hoyas dislike soggy roots.

  • In summer: every 1–2 weeks depending on warmth and pot size.

  • In winter: water sparingly (about every 3–4 weeks).

🌡️ Temperature & Humidity

  • Ideal range: 18–27°C (65–80°F).

  • Keep above 15°C (59°F) and away from cold drafts.

  • Enjoys moderate to high humidity — aim for 50–60%+ if possible, especially for lush new growth.

🌱 Soil

  • Use a loose, chunky, well-draining mix such as:

    • 1 part orchid bark

    • 1 part perlite or pumice

    • 1 part peat or coco coir

  • Roots need air flow, so avoid compact soil.

🍽️ Feeding

  • Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a balanced or orchid fertilizer, diluted to half strength.

  • No feeding needed in winter.

🌿 Growth Habit & Support

  • A vining plant that loves to climb or trail.

  • Support it with a trellis or let it cascade for a softer look.

🌸 Flowers

  • Produces fragrant, star-shaped white blooms in good light conditions.

  • Don’t remove old flower spurs — new blooms will form there again!

⚠️ Common Issues

  • Yellowing or soft leaves → too much water.

  • Wrinkled leaves → too dry.

  • Pale variegation → needs more light.
